Problem
“When we made the transition to our new business model, we had some tough decisions to make around IT,” said the company’s Director of IT. “With a smaller team and a need to scale efficiently, we knew we couldn’t afford to invest heavily in new hardware or expand the staff. On top of that, our file storage system was outdated, and we needed to improve our security—all while keeping costs manageable.”
The Director explained that the company’s previous infrastructure was no longer a good fit for their evolving needs.
“We had a sizable internal IT team and equipment when we were operating under a different model. But after selling part of the business and shifting our focus, we realized we couldn’t keep everything running the same way. We had to rethink our approach and find a solution that would give us the flexibility to grow without the heavy overhead of new equipment and staff.”
